The AM4CL-24 Amplified Speaker Cluster features four AM-24G high output, continuous-duty amplified speakers attached to a NEMA 1 enclosure. AM Series signals draw extremely low power from the audio system while producing audio reproduction up to 107 dBA. Each AM Series amplified speaker features a rugged speaker cone and a projector built with spun aluminum. The amplification and other internal circuitry are built into a rugged die-cast aluminum housing that is sealed with powder coat paint and includes dust- and moisture-proof gaskets.
Designed for industrial signaling in harsh environments and areas with high ambient noise, the AM4CL-24 provides high-quality audio signaling for a variety of demanding applications. Each AM-24G uses the speaker output of a new or existing audio system to produce high-decibel voice messages or tone signals. Typical applications include emergency warning, plant evacuation, process control, public address signaling, voice evacuation, mass notification systems, and fire alarm systems.
The AM4CL-24 Amplified Speaker Cluster provides true 360-degree sound coverage using a single audio drop, making it well suited for large-area signaling applications. The cluster can be fastened to or hung from a ceiling using conduit or chains, providing flexible installation options. Depending on installation conditions, the AM4CL-24 can provide coverage for areas of up to 100,000 square feet.
The AM-24 amplified speakers can be connected to either a 25 Vrms or 70 Vrms speaker circuit, with the audio input selected using an onboard jumper. The audio output can also be adjusted ±3 dB using an onboard jumper, allowing a maximum output of either 104 dBA or 107 dBA on axis at 10 feet. The AM4CL-24 is powered by 24 VDC supervised power circuits and features terminal-strip connections with in-out wiring capability.
With digital signal amplification, high audio output, extremely low current draw, and true 360-degree dispersion, the AM4CL-24 provides an effective solution for delivering emergency communications and high-decibel audio throughout large industrial and commercial areas.
